Bird Walk – Fort Washington State Park
Fort Washington State Park – Militia Hill Day Use Area, 420 Militia Hill Road, Fort Washington, PA 19034
We will meet at at the Observation Deck and starting at 8:00 AM, so please give your self a few minutes to prepare. There is parking and rest rooms adjacent to the Observation Deck. The date is subject to change due to weather and trail conditions. Please sign up if interested as there is a limit of 5 people. No dogs.

The majority of the walk will be on a asphalt trail which parallels the Wissahickon Creek. This will be a down and back slow walk along the creek with stops to observe and listen. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress warm in layers as it could be cold. Bring water and a snack if needed.

I typically bird walk for 3+ hours and I plan on continuing after we are finished so if anyone wants to join me you are welcome. I will be walking the trails in the park not along the creek.
